What CGPulse checks
A resource passes this rule when runtime must not be one of ["python2.7","python3.6","python3.7","nodejs10.x","nodejs12.x","nodejs14.x","dotnetcore2.1","dotnetcore3.1","ruby2.5","ruby2.7","java8"]. Anything else is reported as a finding with the evaluated property value attached as evidence.
How to fix it
Upgrade Lambda function to a supported runtime to receive security patches. In AWS Console: Lambda > Functions > Configuration > Runtime settings > Edit. See: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/lambda/latest/dg/lambda-runtimes.html
Terraform
resource "aws_lambda_function" "{name}" {
runtime = "python3.12" # Use a supported runtime
}
