What CGPulse checks
A resource passes this rule when sslPolicy must not be one of ["ELBSecurityPolicy-2016-08","ELBSecurityPolicy-TLS-1-0-2015-04","ELBSecurityPolicy-TLS-1-1-2017-01"]. Anything else is reported as a finding with the evaluated property value attached as evidence.
How to fix it
Set minimum TLS version to 1.2 to prevent protocol downgrade attacks. In AWS Console: Resource > Settings > set Minimum TLS version to 1.2. See: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/prescriptive-guidance/latest/encryption-best-practices/welcome.html
Terraform
resource "aws_lb_listener" "{name}" {
ssl_policy = "ELBSecurityPolicy-TLS13-1-2-2021-06"
}
