What CGPulse checks
A resource passes this rule when healthCheckType must equal ELB. Anything else is reported as a finding with the evaluated property value attached as evidence.
How to fix it
Set health check type to ELB so unhealthy instances are automatically replaced by the load balancer. In AWS Console: EC2 > Auto Scaling groups > select group > Edit > Health check type > ELB. See: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/autoscaling/ec2/userguide/health-checks-overview.html
Terraform
resource "aws_autoscaling_group" "{name}" {
health_check_type = "ELB"
}
